 If the 'threat' is already high enough to take action, they shouldn't give notice - but it's compensation for the ferry/tunnel operators and airlines, to raise fares before passenger numbers drop! It's been inevitable since Spain was added to the list - just a matter of time, how long those travelers would take to raise the numbers of cases! Countries welcoming potential 'carriers' are also welcoming the virus! I’m not sure why people in France are complaining that they haven’t had enough warning. Haven’t we all been on a permanent warning about the risk you take if you go abroad? People complained when we had a two-week notice about wearing face masks, so how much notice do they actually want because they will never be happy.
