Australia like many parts of the world does not have a gun culture. Australians do not carry guns unless they have a licence to do so. Farmer’s have guns and people can obtain licences for hunting. Our police are armed but I really do not understand what your comment means when you say our government are the only ones with guns. We live in a democracy and we are definitely not under military rule. I found your comment rather bizarre. I have also lived in Europe and New Zealand who have similar gun laws as we do and people do not carry guns in any of the countries that I have lived in. We did have lockdowns in some states in Australia because we needed to protect the health of our most vulnerable citizens and stop our hospital system from been overwhelmed when covid hit.
